Image-to-video

animate a single image into motion

Open this workflow

Before you start

  • An authorized starting image.
  • A description of subject movement and camera movement.

How to use this workflow

  1. Step 1

Add the image in Video Create, or open Make Video from an image result.

  2. Step 2

Choose a compatible model and describe what should move while keeping the subject recognizable.

  3. Step 3

Review the full clip, especially the first frame, motion, and final frame.

What to check

A starting image guides the clip; it does not guarantee perfect identity or geometry throughout the motion.

Prepare the inputs

  • Finish image corrections before animation: hands, faces, labels and crop. Leave room for the planned camera movement.
  • Write one subject action and one camera instruction. Decide whether audio belongs in the clip and whether an ending frame is necessary.

Choose the right controls

Use Video Create or Make Video from the image result. Check image/frame support, available durations, aspect ratio and audio controls for the selected model. Use a model with an explicit end-frame input when both endpoints must be supplied.

Troubleshoot the result

  1. Motion changes the product or identity

Reduce the action and camera travel, keep the subject visible, and return to the approved still. Review the entire clip for changing proportions, labels and faces rather than selecting by its thumbnail.

  2. The transition or sound is wrong

For start/end inputs, use compatible framing and a plausible action between them. If the model supports audio controls, check their state before submitting; listen through the result even when the picture is acceptable.

Continue with an approved result

Keep the approved shot for Direct assembly. Use a supported source-video edit for a transformation, or generate a revised shot when the requested change is outside the editing model’s input contract.
