Bring the whole brief

Start from a prompt, guide a shot with Start and End Frames, or use up to 30 image, 10 video, and 10 audio references. Audio-only input is supported, so sound can lead the visual direction when that is the right starting point.

Frames mode keeps the composition focused on the opening and closing images. References mode handles mixed media in a deliberate order, giving you room to define subjects, places, motion, and sound in one generation.

• You need first/last frames or image, video, and audio references.
• You want to edit a 4–30 second clip or extend a 2–30 second clip.
• You want up to 30 seconds of 480p, 720p, or 1080p output.

Create, edit, and extend

In Video Create, choose Auto or 4–30 seconds, 480p, 720p, or 1080p, and native audio. Seedance 2.5 can move from a short idea to a longer shot without splitting the direction across separate tools.

Edit accepts a 4–30 second source clip; Extend accepts 2–30 seconds. Optional visual and audio guidance supports restyling or continuation, and the result returns to the same DayGen workflow.

Direct with per-scene control

In Direct, each Seedance scene can use 480p, 720p, or 1080p. Changing a scene quality updates the film quote and invalidates an older render reservation.

Seedance can return a native final frame for scene continuity. DayGen saves it with the Film and falls back to extracting a frame from the MP4 when needed.

• Use timestamp-directed prompts to place actions, camera changes, and beats at specific moments.
