GPT Image 2.5
GPT Image 2.5 replaces GPT Image 2 as DayGen's default OpenAI image model.
Pick Flare or Sunburst
Open the GPT Image family in the model selector. Flare is the default: higher quality than GPT Image 2 at about half the latency, and the right choice for creator and social content, product imagery, and high-volume work. Sunburst takes longer but gives tighter control across edits, which suits production-ready campaign creative and polished product shots.
Two new quality tiers
Both models add Extra high and Max above the existing Auto, Medium, and High tiers. Higher tiers cost more credits and take longer. GPT Image 2 keeps its original tiers and does not accept the new ones.
Transparent backgrounds
GPT Image 2.5 can return a transparent background directly when the output format is PNG or WebP. GPT Image 2 still cannot, so use the dedicated Remove Background action there.
